After a decade of working with elementary-aged children at the Bay Area Learning Academy (BALA), we’ve gained invaluable insights into how children learn most effectively. Our mission now is to ignite creativity in every child through hands-on, active learning in a social environment that celebrates their individuality.
Drawing from our experiences at BALA, we’ve developed a High Scope inspired program designed to create a dynamic and engaging learning environment. This approach promotes curiosity, critical thinking, problem solving, and social skills—key foundations for academic success and lifelong achievement.
Our curriculum is built around a consistent daily routine, positive adult. child interactions, and personalized assessments to ensure every child feels supported and valued in their unique learning journey. Teachers partner closely with each child, guiding them through meaningful, interactive experiences that nurture both academic and personal growth. By focusing on active learning and fostering a strong sense of belonging, our High Scope curriculum helps children build confidence and independence.
